• First, fill a sink with cold water no warmer than 30°C
• Add a silk-specific or neutral detergent (shampoo works)
• Soak the silk scarf for 5-10 minutes (no more than 30 minutes)
• Rinse thoroughly with cold water until all detergent is removed
• Gently press out excess water with a towel or your hands; do not twist
• Hang to air dry, avoiding direct sunlight
• Do not bleach, tumble dry, or soak for extended periods
• When ironing, use a cloth barrier and keep the temperature below 150°C, or use steam ironing
• When hanging, avoid contact with sharp or rough surfaces to prevent snagging
